The idea for The Clubhouse took shape when three longtime friends—Tucker, Tim, and Scott—noticed how limited golfing options were in Charleston’s social scene. Eager to blend the competitive spirit of the sport with the city’s signature hospitality, they envisioned a virtual golf bar in Charleston where anyone could practice swings, challenge friends, and indulge in the region’s laid-back energy—all under one roof.

Drawing from a Division I and professional soccer background, plus years spent leading fitness communities, Tucker has a gift for cultivating vibrant social spaces. He may not be the world’s best golfer, but he’s an expert in bringing people together.
Tim Hettermann
Co-Founder
A lifelong sports lover, Tim traded lacrosse for golf after college. He’s since played at prestigious courses nationwide and hopes to replicate that sense of camaraderie at The Clubhouse. His passion for competition and fun sets the tone for our unique atmosphere.
